We therefore not only guarantee that we refuse to use child labour, we also insist that all our suppliers sign an agreement with us guaranteeing that they don't exploit children in their manufacturing processes either.

To ensure the organic credentials of our Aloe Vera we went as far as to set up our own farm in Mexico so that we can control what goes into our products. Our Aloe is grown in Mexico, because that country offers climatic and soil conditions which guarantee a top quality crop.

LR recognises that although 'Product Mileage' is a little recognised aspect of greenhouse reduction, it is one that must be addressed by business and the community.
Product Mileage is the distance a product has to be transported, using valuable fossil fuels and creating deadly greenhouse gasses, to deliver it to the consumer. The usual supermarket distribution system has a supply chain of: Manufaturer - Warehouse - Wholesaler - Distributors - Retailers - Customer.
Under LR's distribution system, the Wholesaler - Distributor and Retailer are cut out and replaced by us - LR's Partners. This change means that products are brought directly from our factories in Germany to our warehouses, and from there directly to us and our consumers which leads to a significant reduction in the Product Mileage of LR products compared to products sold under the usual system.

In order to guarantee this and demonstrate our confidence in our product, we have our Aloe Vera products independently tested by one of the most stringent testing laboratories in the world. We at LR are proud to be one of the select few companies in the world to be granted the coveted seal of approval by The Institut Frensius of Germany. The Institut Frensius performs random product testing by buying the products as a normal consumer to avoid substitution.
Only about 10% of companies who seek Frensius certification pass their stringent testing procedures and LR is the only manufacturer or Aloe Vera products to gain this proof of quality.
